Juventus defender Dani Alves will make his first appearance since December after being substituted by Juventus midfielder Kevin Gameiro on Saturday in Inter’s 4-1 defeat at Bologna.
The Italian side won the match 1-0 thanks to two late goals by Marco Callejon and Alves’ late header from an Adam Lallana cross.
The result means Inter are now level on points with Juventus with five games remaining.
“I don’t know if it’s a bad thing, but it’s been a difficult season,” Alves said.
“We’ve had a lot of injuries and we’ve played against a really good team in the last two games.
I’m happy to be here, but we’ll see what happens.”
Alves played for Inter against Bolognas in the Champions League last season and was also an unused substitute against Real Madrid.
